January 22, 2024 (SAN ANTONIO) - CPS Energy, the largest municipally owned electric and natural gas utility in the United States, has entered into a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) with Genesis Consolidated Industries Holdings (GCI) for a 150 megawatt (MW) solar.
A 150kw solar panel system can generate between 600 kWh and 900 kWh of electricity per day. Government incentives and tax credits can cover more than 30% of installation costs.
